Married Friends Unite!

Happy Birthday to HEATH!
Wow...so Heath is 23 now, we've been married almost a year, and Sam is still a baby. What a life!
Wednesday (the big B-Day), we celebrated with Oven Tacos and fudge brownies - Heath loves the new digital camera he got for his birthday.
Little did he know that I'd been saving since Christmas for it and planning another surprise! Heeehee!

Even our neighbor "grandma" sent over some banana bread with a candle!

The best part about our birthday weekend was seeing all of our married (and almost married) friends again!

We all went Outback Saturday night. I took Heath grocery shopping to stall him long enough for everyone to get there...but I'm not sure what was more expensive: taking a hungry husband into a grocery store or actually feeding him?

Daylight Savings Time hit us too. We were having a great time playing Pit Saturday night until we realized that we were losing an hour and it was almost 12 instead of 11. We instantly, as DeWaard put it, "hit our wall".

Getting up and feeding everyone was my job...obviously, I gave myself the easier one!

DeWaard and Sam were the main source of laughter and fun this afternoon. Heath and Ben battled in several games of GobbleIt while the duo below battled for the rubber toys.

But...unfortunately, DeWaard lost the battle of energy!

Even though we only got to see our friends for the afternoon - we had a blast!
Hopefully, we'll get a chance to see them this spring during Tulip Time in Pella. Who knows! Maybe we'll end up there during Heath's spring break.
